From The
Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital 14/2/2011
We have been customers of Health Information Systems for the past 7 years. Their software is a
fundamental part of our Diabetes Eye Screening Programme. We have a database of over
20,000 patients so it is important to have software that suits the purpose and is reliable of
which Diabeta3 fulfils this criterion.
We chose HISL following recommendations from colleagues and we have found their customer care
and attention to duty very good.
We have good customer relations with the helpdesk either by telephone or email and they are
always very helpful and supportive in times of needs.
The database is easy to use and navigate through the different pages. It is used by both
Administration Staff and Healthcare Professionals in the Diabetes Clinic and all find it
user friendly. The software for grading is one of the best on the market and we
have promoted it to other screening programmes in the country for these reasons.

From The Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust 14/9/2009It
gives me pleasure to report our positive experience of using Vector as the Programme
Management IT Solution for the South Manchester Diabetic Retinopathy Screening System. The
programme went live with the Vector Software by stages from November 2007. It is now
sucessfully networked between one hundred twenty Optometrists, seven Diabetes Centres, two
Hospital Eye Departments and the Programme Administrator Hub. The programme currently
comprises screening for more than sixty thousand people with Diabetes across five PCT's.
We have found Vector to be a reliable software solution and HISL a flexible and responsive
supplier with whom to work. I would be happy to answer any detailed enquiries about our
experience if approached.
With best wishes.
