Health Information Systems | Development, marketing and support of electronic patient record systems and patient level costing systems to the Healthcare market
Welcome to Health Information Systems (UK) Limited
Health Information Systems (UK) Ltd (HISL) was formed in 2004 as a spin-out from the world famous teaching hospitals of Guys' & St. Thomas' in London, where the team had developed the VECTOR family of chronic disease management/long term care electronic patient record systems (EPR). Since then VECTOR has been further developed into new disease areas, and now offers a multi-disease, clinically in-depth platform component of an electronic patient record.
Multi Disease EPR Platform
VECTOR offers the in-depth clinical functionality not found in more general hospital systems such as PAS/HIS, but with the ability to share data with these systems to give a comprehensive electronic patient record. In the past, this in-depth functionality has only been available via specialist departmental systems covering a specific disease area, but, with VECTOR, is now available across many disease areas, sharing the same clinical database, and interacting with other healthcare systems in a seamless manner. VECTOR is the multi-disease clinical component of a comprehensive electronic patient record approach.
Benefits of the Vector approach include:
Shared data across multiple care teams
Reduction in dublication of data, effort and time (operational costs)
Improved patient experience
Less IT overheads
Reduced clinical team frustration
Increased operational efficiency
